Hey guys I download your Lite, in it I got 6 parts all rar files, each rar file has an iso to your system, witch one do I use they all look the same I did burn one of them, try to load it on my pc on two different pcs and it didnt work, the only thing I have found to work is Kalway, however its the 10.5.2 and I wanted the more up to date version, I like the look of the OS. Can anyone help or post a link to where the real iso is that works??

Very very good this os..

I downloaded the rar files, created the .iso, checked the MD5 checksum, burned the DVD (at slow speed as instructed). I have a Toshiba nb206 with an Samsung DVD Writer external unit. I boot, select F12 to boot from USB, it boots from USB, I hit space bar to boot from CDROM unit...the screen is white with a dark Apple logo...and that's it. Nothing else happens. I've tried burning DVDs several times. I even tried using USB stick, and get the same result... white screen showing Apple logo.

Any ideas?

I put iDeneb v1.6 on a usb stick, but this time I started it up using the -v option... got MUCH further. Went through the whole install process. I selected GMA950, Atheros, ICHX fixed.. I think that's it.

So now it boots and comes back with "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button..." After it restarts it comes back to the same thing.

after I install 10.5.8 the system wouldn't find my mouse and keyborad, but can find usb mouse.Is there I have to select during the install?

Just tried a clean install of 10.5.8 with iDeneb 10.5.8 lite, but it kernel panics in the middle of the instalation, When I boot up and run the installer, it sits for about 10-15 minutes saying it's calculating the install time, then it kernel panics on me, saying something about the "get physicalsegment() out of 32 kb range class IOGeneralMemoryDescription" and "BSD process name corresponding to current thread: Directiory Services

l'ho installata senza problemi su di un notebook HP Compaq nx7300 ma all'avvio non mi funziona la tastiera e il mouse pad, ho messo provvisoriamente una tastiera ed un mouse esterno sulle porte usb e poi ho installato il PS2 ma non è cambiato nulla.

After hours of trying to figure out how to install 10.5.8 (and yes read everything there was available online) I finally got it to install...kind of. Once I finally got it to boot (my key problem was apparently having to set the partition type to AF)... I now get something about not being able to locate keyboard/mouse.

Using Toshiba NB205.

Toshiba nb205 and iAtkos v 7. FINALLY got it to install. When I try to install the Toshiba Essentials package per instructions it boots and then the screen becomes all gray and unreadable. Is it the GMA 950 kext? The only resolution I have is 800x600. What I really need is the wireless and the Ethernet to work.

this is so far the best OSX i have used so far on the lenovo g530 if anybody needs help piking the right OSX86 or drivers ask me

download/install power iso (google it) than open the iso with it than on the top there is a button that says burn click on it set your settings and click burn.
(power iso in only the trial version for free)

Hi, i have been trying to install ideneb 10.5.8 and i when i boot with -v i get "still waiting for root device" So then i boot with rd=disk0s1 and then i get a kernel panic. I have a dell inspirion 531 with 2gb of ram, AMD 2.8ghz Athlon 64 x2, ATI HD2600xt. I manage to install kalyway 10.5.2 with no problems at all. I have tried to update this version to 10.5.8 using the ideneb updater which apparently works on all versions but that says install failed. can anyone help?

you can try the single cpu code even if it is dual cpu try it. (it worked for me)

what version of ideneb do you have if you have ideneb v1.6 on the install dvd there is a driver called (vodoo controler) install it and it should work.

Works good but it would be better with more hardware support.

you can try vodoo track pad but try at your own risk i tried it about 3 times doesent seem to work vodoo controler is the best of its kind

at the customize screen in the installer pick these drivers...
"do not unselect any drivers that are default"

installed last night (said installation was successful) but when i restart the only OS of choice I have are my Vista and Windows7 installations (at the prompt where i need to choose which OS to load)..i dont have the OSx as an option

but in vista/win7, the drive where i installed iDened on is greyed out and says "active" so I assume the installation was ok but i just cant find it in my boot options? how do i fix this? thanks

I had almost the same problem with windows 7 installed, after i installed iDeneb v1.5 it was just showing a black screen at boot up, so with a windows XP install disc, i think it can be done with vista or 7 install disc, load the disk as if you were goign to install the OS, and navigate to the partitions and you should see this:

Small partitioned file around 200mb
Vista Partition
Windows 7 Partition
Os X Partition
And another small partition file around 178mb

Delete the first one wich is the windows one, reboot and you should see the camaleon boot screen, if that is not the case you can always use you Vista/7 installation disk to repair the windows boot screen

@wr1ng i am having the same exact issue,(is called panic screen) if i find out how to fix that, i will post it here.

@wr1ng I was booting of a USB flash drive and i changed the boot priority in the BIOS to USB's to the top and it booted fine, without that panic screen, now its intalling and we will see how it goes...

I tried with the other versions of iDeneb and didnt work. I patched the .iso and that didnt work. So I really do not know why it doesnt work. I have seen it on YouTube that some kid got it working, but idk what .iso he/she used. If someone can help me please. I can get a Mac to work on VMWare, but it was pre-made. I dont like that, and I want to choose at bootscreen.

Ciao ragazzi sono nuovo del forum vi scrivo perchè ho un problema,
usando qualsiasi sistema che sia Kalyway,iDeneb,iAtkos,iPc,succede sempre lo stesso problema avvio il dvd arriva alla schermata con la mela che carica ma non succedde nulla continua a caricare ho anche aggiornato il bios all'ultima versione ma non è cambiato nulla
altre volte viene anche fuori il segnale di divieto, mi dareste una mano, vi lascio i dati del mio pc:

In the system profiler says that the ethernet controller is not working. what should I do? In system settings says that "cable unplugged" but the cable and the internet works just fine (i test on other laptop)

Hi I'm having some troubles booting. I'm using the ideneb 10.5.8 lite edition. Installation and everything completes successfully, but it won't boot. When it tries to reboot after the installation it opens the Compaq screen and then switches to a black screen. My graphics chip is an intel, if that helps at all. If anyone cares to help, I would appreciate it!

Hello hekp please. I installed iDeneb 10.5.8 Lite Edition. After installed it restarted, a menu a blue screen with the cammeleon shows up to enter setup and if you don't press anything it continues in gray screen and nothing more.

Hello. I have an intel core 2 duo desktop pc with a gigabyte motherborad (GA-X38-DQ6) and i installed iDeneb 10.5.8 Lite Edition. Everything works fine except from:
1. In the system profile i can see the IDE ATA drive but not on the desktop. Do i need any patch?
2. My firewire on the system profile it reads up to 400mbs max, but when i plug in my camera it reads 100mbs max. Do i need any patch for that? Thanks.

Finally i managed to install iDeneb 10.5.8 on my PC.

It was problem vith kext for Nvidia driver. So I had gray screen. I took out my graphic card and installed with no problem with my onboard graphic card Intel GMA 950. After that i read and foun out on using NVKUSH kext for NVIDIA. I just installed the graphic card and installed NVKUSH kext. Now it works great.

I installed Parallels Desktop and on it Win XP, there i use my printer HP and my Scanner Mustek 1200 UB Plus.


I am practising more times cose have relatives and friends who want to use the same.

Problem for me is only internet. I can use LAN with no problem but not managed to fix Wirreles. My Wirreles USB is SMCWUSB-G 802.11g
